Siesta Key, Florida and the Oregon Coast

Two more from the US to US round robin. One of Siesta Key located in Sarasota Florida. The other is a view of Haystack Rock in Pacific City, Oregon. Both look like very beautiful places! If only we could do more traveling. Looking forward to a trip to Washington state we are planning for this summer.

Kennedy Space Center, Florida

I joined a couple US to US round robin's to add to our collection of US State cards. Here's the first of those. A card from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. We've visited FL a couple times with the kids but have never made it to the Space Center. Maybe next time. I'd love to be able to see a space shuttle launch someday.
BTW, HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13TH!!

Finland

Another official card from Finland (FI-139793). A nice summer view!

Padova, Italy

Here's an official card from Italy (IT-4292). A picture of Palazzo della Ragione, a palace in the center of the town.

Wicklow County, Ireland

I mentioned a few posts ago that a family friend had taken a trip and sent us a few cards. Here is the second of 3 she sent. This one is from Ireland.
I really like the views on this one. Here is the description from the back of the card (since it's in English and I can understand what it says! :)-- Wicklow County, considered to be the Garden of Ireland. This card features the Round Tower of Glendalough, Powerscourt Gardens and the picturesque Village of Greystones.

Finland

This is the Petajavesi old church in Finland. Official card (FI-138322). The sender wrote that it is a UNESCO WHS site. I've seen this term before and I know a lot of people collect UNESCO cards but I'm not sure I completely understand what they are. I've done a little searching online. If anyone out there can give me a good site that explains and lists them I'd appreciate it! Thanks :)

Veliky Novgorod, Russia

An official card from Russia! (RU-5193)
This is St. Sophia's Cathedral, the main cathedral of the city. This card took almost 3 months to arrive. wow!

A friend of the family took a trip to Europe and Ireland recently and sent us a couple cards. Here is the first one from Conwy in Wales. It has a couple views of Conwy Castle which was completed in 1287.
